How To Cancel A Lost Or Stolen Arvest Bank Cashiers Check
A cashiers check is a secured form of payment. However, it also means a greater risk for the payer.
In this case, if the cashiers check is lost or stolen, you should immediately report it to your bank.
First, youll need to report the incident to the bank and provide details that something unusual has happened with the cashiers check.
In most cases, customers also need to provide a declaration of loss of cashiers check. Most banks follow the 90-day rule before canceling the already issued checks.
Therefore, cancellation or stop-payment of a cashiers check may take more time than you expect. Also, reissuing the same cashiers check would require a new deduction from your account until the case is proven in your favor.
C Breach Of The Covenant Of Good Faith And Fair Dealing
Plaintiffs also allege in their complaint that Arvest breached the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing. Under Arkansas and Missouri law, every contract contains an implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing. Yarborough v. DeVilbiss Air Power, Inc.,321 F.3d 728, 732 CantrellWaind & Associates, Inc. v. Guillaume Motorsports, Inc.,62 Ark. App. 66, 968 S.W.2d 72, 75 of Contracts§ 205 ) Swartz v. Mann,160 S.W.3d 411, 414 . As is the case with the contract’s express terms, the implied covenant is part of the contract and creates contractual obligations that are actionable.Yarborough,321 F.3d at 732. Good faith performance or enforcement of a contract emphasizes faithfulness to an agreed common purpose and consistency with the justified expectations of the other party.Restatement of Contracts§ 205, cmt. a see Missouri Consol. Health Care Plan v. Cmty. Health Plan,81 S.W.3d 34, 47 .
Arvest first moves to dismiss to the extent that plaintiffs seek to assert breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing as an independent cause of action. The Court rejects this basis for dismissal, as plaintiffs assert this claim as a general breach of contract claim, not as a separate cause of action.
The Court denies Arvest’s motion to dismiss plaintiffs’ claim for breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing.

Finally, customers can call on the phone banking helpline to open a new bank account.
All three methods are convenient and easy. Customers will need the following information to open a new checking or savings account

Good But One Suggestion
Overall easy to use and great user experience. Very easy to navigate as well. You can even shut off your debit card by the push of a button if youve misplaced it, turning it back on if you find it, and also having the option of receiving a text message if its trying to be used while its misplaced. Arvest App team, please dont throw this review aside though because my only problem is that Id like to see an option added when your transferring money, to be able to deposit into an account by simply typing that account number in. This would make peoples experience easier who pay a monthly fee to perhaps a landlord or someone who gave them a personal loan. Please consider this. I wouldnt want my accounts to disappear because the process is so easy, but a simple button of *Or Type Account # here* would be so convenient.Even adding something as simple as a verification of Face ID or Password again to cover yourselfs from loss or people saying it wasnt them making the deposit.

Order Checks From Your Bank
You can also get checks from your bank. This might be the easiest option because you don’t have to figure out where your account and routing numbers are . It might also be slightly safer because your bank already has your account information. But banks dont print your checks in-housethey send the order to a check printer anyway.
To get new checks from your bank or credit union, just call and let them know you need more. They may have a few design options available to you, and youre done. Banks typically let you complete orders online if thats more convenient.
Low hassle, higher cost: If you dont want to spend more than five minutes thinking about your checks, ordering through your financial institution may be easiest. The tradeoff is that you’ll probably pay a bit more for the convenience.
Order Checks From An Online Check Printer
Inexpensive selection: For the lowest prices and the best variety of design choices, try an online check printing service. Along with an endless selection of graphics and colors, you can often personalize your checks with a favorite sports theme or hobby. If you just want simple and plain looking checks, you can get those tootheyre inexpensive and they get the job done.
If youre picky about how your checks look, you can upload photos to appear on the face of your checks. Use your own photos or images that you have the creative rights to use. For a check to function properly, all you really need is a piece of paper with account information on itgetting creative with the rest of the check is fine.
Is it safe to order online? For the most part, yes. One risk of online check printers is that you provide checking account information to somebody you don’t know. Most printers are trustworthy and they keep your data secure, but you need to work only with legitimate check printers. Stick with the big names to reduce the chances of fraud. Carousel Checks, Checks Unlimited, and Deluxe are among the most popular and reputable printers. That said, anybody can get hacked, including big banks and major retailers.
Tips for ordering: Its your responsibility to provide accurate bank information when you order checks. Verify the account information with your bank, and provide a voided check if thats an option.

How To Get A Cashiers Check
There are three places to get a cashiers check: visiting a bank branch, going to a , or online. Note that getting a cashiers check online may take more time than obtaining one in person.
For all three options, youll first need to check the issuers requirements for providing a cashiers check. Many banks and credit unions will only issue a cashiers check to one of their customers. If you can get a cashiers check without having an account, youll need to come with cash in hand to cover the checks amount.
Once you have identified the bank or credit union branch where youll get the cashiers checkand verified whether you need an accountthe rest is fairly simple. Youll just need to:
Your bank or credit union may also offer cashiers checks online. If it does, youll need to log in to its website and select the account youd like to use for the check. Depending on the institutions menu navigation, the option to order a cashiers check online may be included under the Order Checks tab. Follow the menu prompts to add the payees name and address, the amount, and any notes you want to include. The check may be routed to a bank/credit union branch where you can pick it up or mailed to the address on your account, which will likely take longer than if you get it in person and deliver it yourself.
Always get a paper or digital receipt for a cashiers check to verify proof of payment. You may need it if the check is lost or stolen.
Other Types Of Checks
Now you know how to order checks for everyday use, but what about special occasions?
Counter checks: You might need to write a check immediately after you open your account . In those cases, ask your bank if it’s possible to get a few counter checks printed. These checks are not always accepted by financial institutions, but they can help you in a pinch.
Cashier’s checks: For large, important transactions, sellers often demand a “guaranteed” form of payment. Wire transfers and cashier’s checks are often used for a down payment on a home or the purchase of a vehicle. Those checks can cost $10 or more, but they are essential in some cases. Cashier’s checks are available online at some banks, or you can purchase them at a branch. Learn more about cashier’s checks.
Money Market Savings Account
Arvest Bank offers a variety of certificate of deposit accounts, with rates dependent on both the term length and the amount you invest. A wider variety of term lengths may be available at some branches, including some promotional options, so its a good idea to call or stop by your nearest branch for the most accurate information.
If you need to withdraw your money before the end of your term, youll be forced to pay an early withdrawal penalty. The exact amount of the penalty will depend on the amount youre withdrawing, how far into your term you are and the original length of your term.
What If A Cashiers Check Is Lost Or Stolen
If you purchase a cashiers check and lose it, or its stolen, you can ask the bank to reissue the check. The caveat is that the bank may ask for an indemnity bond first. This bond isnt easy to obtain and makes you liable if the lost check is found and presented for payment. Its also not an instant process. Depending on the bank, you may have to wait 30 to 90 days to receive a replacement cashiers check.

Through Online Banking
Another convenient and easy way to get an Arvest Bank cashiers check is to apply through online banking.

What Is An Arvest Bank Cashiers Check
Arvest Bank cashiers check is a banking instrument that is issued by the bank with the assurance of funds availability.
It is also called a special check or demand draft. It is issued on demand for the customers and can be used for any financial transaction.
The bank deducts the cashiers check amount from the account balance of the payer or receives it in cash. Then, the cashier records the specifications of the cashiers check including the date, amount, and payee name.
The cashier then verifies the signatures and authenticates the check before handing it over to the customer.
A cashiers check can be cleared overnight or within a day easily as it is a confirmed payment instrument.
